Can you imagine a guest list of 20,000? That’s exactly what real
couple Amanda Adams and Phil Reader had when they married at this year’s Camp
Bestival!
This wedding was anything but low-key. Following a relaxed ceremony for
friends and family in the beautiful Lulworth Castle Courtyard, the wedding party
went large with a full-scale parade led by the Jaipur Marching Band!
The wedding party and their guests
marched through the beautifully manicured grounds and then stopped for photos on
the impressive Castle steps. And the fun didn’t stop there. The massive festival
audience roared their approval during a surprise appearance by the newlyweds on
main stage!
“We had planned our own festival theme but being at an actual festival was
much more impressive,” said real bride Amanda who lives in Devon. “Being centre
stage in the summer sunshine in front of all those smiling happy faces, it was
an experience neither of us could ever forget.”
Camp Bestival, held in the grounds of Lulworth Castle in Dorset is aimed
at families with small children, and is the little sister of Bestival, in the
Isle of Wight. As well as Lulworth Castle, the Lulworth Castle Courtyard is also
licensed for civil ceremonies and suitable for gatherings of up to 80 guests. To
